This page describes changes that affect the behavior of the EDI conformance tools.
The date shown is the date the change was implemented in the development code, but since you are
reading about it here, it is in the version you are using.
Conformance Tool Changes
- 2008-10-29:

- Fixed bug in Input Test XML generation.
- Corrected some message implementations.
- 2008-10-22:
- Re-deployed Input Test capability.
- Better ANSI X12 support.
- 2008-10-09:
- Improved message definitions.
- 2008-10-06:
- First release of MOSS Pilot version.
- 2008-07-24:
- Corrected problems in INVOIC and DESADV found by a participant.
- Switched to loading database populations for EDIFACT rather than parsing.
- 2008-07-23:
- Corrected a problem processing EDIFACT (ISO 9735) containing UNS control segments.
- 2008-06-11:
- Added IFTMBF, IFTMCS, CUSCAR and IFTMAN capabilities.
- Corrected problem where choice of EDI Path to a data element that occured
multiply in the same segment was sometimes incorrect. This error caused
both some EDI Paths and some example data to be incorrect.
- 2008-05-13:
- Added IFTMIN capabilities.
- Made the structure checking code a bit more resilient to errors.
- 2008-05-04:
- Fixed a problem in reading EDIFACT messages where values in composite data elements
that were not encoded to the correct position of the segment were nonetheless
read as though they were, and therefore were incorrectly assigned to a MOSS Property.
- Defined a conformance checking criteria reporting data in EDIFACT messages that
was not assigned to any MOSS Property.
- Defined a conformance checking criteria reporting EDIFACT data elements that exceed
the maximum field length.
- Defined a conformance checking criteria reporting EDIFACT data elements that
should contain numeric values but don't.
